John Wrinch Williams is an eclectic musician based in Montreal, Quebec,
Canada.  Born in Waterloo, Ontario in 1973, stringed instruments were his first
love, from classical guitar to bass and electric guitar.  At an early age his musical
training included recording as a method of exploration and as a writing tool.

John played in many bands and as a studio musician in Ontario, garnering a
reputation as a dependable, creative and rhythmically solid player.  Musical
endeavors brought him in contact with a wide variety of styles -- from funk,
rock and folk through jazz, traditional music, electronic / dj music,
and Indian classical music.

After a defining visit to India where he studied the sarode -- a tonally rich
fretless North Indian instrument -- John moved to Montreal in 2000.
Here he has been stretching his wings as a producer, dj, performer and
musical confidant / collaborator.  Those who have worked with him
will attest to his natural and unwavering connection with rhythm and sound.
